On the 21st of November 2023, the National Award for Quality in Family Business was evaluated and our company AVEFLOR won the third place. Thank you to all colleagues from the company for their cooperation on our joint project. We appreciate this award!
I believe this is a major step for the development of our company and will provide even better services to our customers.

Aveflor became a corporate donor of the Hradec Králové Philanthropy Exchange at the end of October. The total amount donated by the company to individual non-profit organisations was CZK 50,000. The company's director Jan Zubatý personally sat on the donor's chair and decided to support seven presented projects.
 
The Philanthropy Exchange is a transparent tool to support projects of non-profit organizations, which also offers a meeting of representatives of the business sector, non-profit organizations and public administration. It is in fact a "D-Day" of non-profit organisations and is run in a similar way as we know it from the Czech Television programme, where interesting projects applied for support from investors.
 
In the case of the Philanthropy Exchange, non-profit organisations present their project and compete for the support of donors from business and public administration. They can support projects with financial and material donations or other appropriate forms of assistance. Since the beginning, the exchanges have been held in several locations in the Pardubice Region and from 2023 in the Zlín and Hradec Králové Regions, so donors can support non-profit organisations and their projects in the region to which they are more closely related.

On 17th of  April 2023 we became a new member of the Association of Medical Device Manufacturers and Suppliers. At its meeting on 19th of April 2023, we presented our company, products and services we provide. We look forward to further cooperation within this association and with companies in the medical device industry.

In the upcoming weeks, our company will finalize the completion of the project for the production of high concentration (over 50%) astaxanthin phytocomplex, which is co-financed by the EU. In May, the trial production and pilot production of the first batches will start. The whole long-term project, which started in the research laboratories of Centa Algatech (www.alga.cz), will be completed in the upcoming weeks. We believe that it will bring many satisfied users worldwide, as it is a unique technology that has not been used in the world for the separation of astaxanthin of this purity.

April 2023: Our company launches new products in the Arpalit^® Care range. These are products that care for your pet's teeth as well as their ears. We hope to expand the number of satisfied customers who have come to love our Arpalit^® anti-parasitic products. The products can be found in any good pet shop.

At the turn of January and February 2023, a new photovoltaic power plant (PV) was launched on the roof of our company's warehouse. This PV plant has a maximum capacity of 150kWp. We expect to reduce our consumption from the grid by about 25-30% by generating electricity from this PV plant. The PV plant construction project was co-financed by the European Union.

Therefore, in our business we have long been looking for materials and raw materials that are harmless or a minimal burden to the environment. The next step on this journey is to reduce our carbon footprint completely. Generating and consuming our own electricity from solar energy combined with storage is the ideal solution for us.
